Tasted on tap at the brewery taproom. Good appearance, with a ring of tan foam and nice lacing. Great wee heavy aromas of prunes and light soy sauce. Brown sugar, prunes, maple syrup and faint smoke flavors. Heavy body and low carbonation is appropriate, but a hint too much sweetness. Alcohol is well-hidden. This is an anniversary ale to be proud of.
