Clear gold color, quickly dissolving white head. Not much on the nose, just some light grains and maybe some wet leaves. Not much on the front palate, but the finish was a smooth, warm mixture of biscuit, vanilla and honeysuckle. Liked the medium body feel and mouth-coat.

The beer pours out a crystal clear pale golden straw color, with 1 finger of white head------------ the aromas are of sweet grains and that's about it, unimpressive aroma------------- the flavors are of cracker malt and light floral notes and that's about it, the beer has a thin to medium mouthfeel with a smooth finish-------------- overall this beer was mediocre imo, not much going on tasted more like a macro lager than a craft pilsner

A nice yellow color with some goldenrod tints. The head is one finger thick with fair retention. The beer does presentshe with a couple carbonation bubbles.

A nice floral note with some perfume light toasted and some yeast.

A nice floral and perfume note with toasted malt bread and yeast.

The mouthful is carbonated crisp and clean.

This a very nice pilsner, really good balance nice body light but refreshing

On-tap at Beachwood I,

A: Pours a clear gold with a soft white head, some good spotty lace.

S: Floral notes with a clear Saaz character, classic.

T: Solid pils malt flavour, with a good back Saaz profile. Not as directly hoppy as I like in a pils, but certainly well done. No off flavours.

M: Light-bodied, crisp though a little flabby in the finish, clean.

O: A good pilsner and a nice intro to this Vegas brewery which is new to the Southland.

Draft to Pils

@Orleans Hotel, Las Vegas

App- A very clear yellow with a small one finger white head. Very bubbly and good sticky cling.

Smell- Again, Pils and lagers arent my thing. Grainy, lemony, grassy and a bit earthy. Wasn't bad, just want too inviting.

Taste- An average beer to say the least. Very buttery but not in an infected way, just the way they brewed it. Butter with some grass and german hops. Just kinda eh.

Mouth- A light body with a light carbonation. A bit earthy and grainy.

Drink- Just very average. Ill keep trying pils till I find one. On to the next one!

On tap at Todd English PUB in Las Vegas.

Appearance: Typical pilsner gold but hazy. Would be nice if it was clear but the aroma and taste are more important.

Aroma: Good amount of hops and soft malt presence. Very inviting.

Taste: This is a delicious pilsner. Lovely soft malt profile blends with the hop flavours perfectly, and leaves a growing rewarding hop bitterness that lasts. This is one of the nicest pilsners I have tasted.

Mouthfeel: Exactly what you want from the style. Medium, crisp, carbonated, with a touch of dryness.

Drinkability: Do not miss the opportunity to try this. A delight.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear pale golden color with a thin and fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Light hops aroma with faint malt and yeast in the background. Light-bodied with peppery hops, malt and yeast flavors. The finish is mildly bitter with hops and spice aftertaste. Average overall.

On Tap at the brewpub 05/05/2008. Served in a pilsner glass.

A - Transparent golden coloration populated with rising suds. Even two tip head of fluff, great retention, excellent lacing.

S - Nice grassy aroma, grains and hops with a mild lemon tang.

T - Surprisingly hoppy, yet still decently balanced. Earthy toned pale malt body with a nice hop kick.

M - sharply carbonated light body, mellow grassy and dry finish.

D - Very good pils, I could revisit this one anytime. A great example of a style that, in my opinion, is more often than not done poorly by American craft brewers.

Nice simple apple juice like fruity yeasty malt aroma. Came poured a clear medium gold color with a light white head. Nice crispness, yet a bit thin. Lightly hopped, but I thought this was actually a pretty decent pilsner and was one of the better beers at Tenaya Creek.

Consumed on draft at brewery, 12/30/07.

Incredibly clear, pale golden beer with some active carbonation and a head that went down to a thin skin fairly quickly.

Aroma - rubbery, solvent. Uh-oh. Luckily, flavor is only the typical corn and a hint of malt graininess. Mild astringency, even milder bitterness.

Nothing special here.

Tried this beer at the 2006 Oregon Brewers Festival.

A: Dense golden pour with a thin white head and some persistant carbonation fizz. Richer appearing than most pilseners I've tried.
S: Mild but fresh, crisp Saaz hops with a notable bread/wheat-type malty sweetness.
T: Quite zesty - very clear malt presence (bready). Enough bitter hops for balance, but a nice full & clean flavor.
M: Probably a medium-bodied beer, though has a nice full mouthfeel.
D: A very tasty beer. Not my favorite style, but more examples like this would make me drink pilsners more often. Recommended.

Pours a clear golden/tan body with a thinnish white head. Small, tighly knit carbonation is seen off the bottom.
Aroma has really biscuity front with some subtle pale malts. Spicy, fruity Saaz hop characteristic.
Flavor has a real spicy hop note in mid-palate which covers the relatively sharp pale malt and middle bready tones.
Mouthfeel is quite full-bodied in spite of light nature of the beer. slightly too full-bodied for style. Americanized Pils in my opinion.
Drinkability is pretty high. Thirst quenching fot the hot climate and really refreshing take on style. Slight heaviness in comparison to others in the style makes it interesting in a good way.
