I thought this was easily the best beer I have tasted from this brewery. Poured a nice dark chocolate color and had a great nose of strong coffee. It was a pleasant surprise. I would Love for them to brew this beer either seasonally or much more often.

On-tap at Beachwood I,
A: Pours black with a medium tan head, frothy lace, solid head retention.
S: All coffee upfront, a soothing odour, very pleasant if one dimensional.
T: Roasted malt, dark chocolate with an undercurrent of coffee throughout, though not as pronounced as in the nose. Light hit of black licorice as well.
M: Fairly light-bodied, an easy drinker, crisp, light carbonation, feels thin at times.
O: Another solid effort from Tenaya Creek. Not as sweet as some oatmeal stouts tend to get, quaffable.
