Pint glass at the brewery. A light place color with a ton of carbonation. The head is one finger thick with good retention.
N: The beer is floral, perfume, toasty, yeasty, and bready.
M: Bright floral, perfume, citrus, toasty, yeasty, and bready.
M: high carbonation slightly astringent and finish crisp.
O: a very good kolsch flavorso spot on the only issues is harmony of flavors. The beer presents with individual flavors instead of together.

Pours a clear pale yellow color with a short head that quickly receded to the rim. The aroma was barely there, as some minimal malt and floral tones were noted. The taste was better, as the malt and hops were defintely more pronounced on the tongue than they were on the nose. There was a very slight citrus twang also detected. Carbonation bubbles were nicely rising through the drink.
This is a lighter body beer that is crisp on the tongue. A mellow malt and hop aftertaste quietly lingers for a brief moment before fading.

Tasted at the 2003 Oregon Brewers Fest. Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is grainy and fruity. A medium bodied Kolsch. Malts are fruity and slightly sweet. Hops are slightly spicy. A light and refreshing Kolsch. Well balanced. A touch tangy on the tongue in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
This kölsch poured a clear, light golden color with white foam that settled and left some lace on the glass. The smell was malty and biscuity (bread aroma), though mild. The taste was malty (with biscuit and bread flavors) with a very mild hop finish. The mouthfeel was smooth, clean, and crisp with medium light body and modest carbonation feel. This was a very clean and refreshing beer, very suitable for the hot weather. It was served very cold, and I recommend letting it warm up a bit to fully enjoy it.
