India Pale Ales are the hoppiest style of beer, and this one won’t disappoint. We use generous amounts of Cascade and Mt. Hood hops, with a final dry hopping in the serving vessel to give this beer its signature bitterness.

Comes out of the tap a pretty clear amber, and off-white head leaves some heavy lacing. Strong aroma is quite hoppy and inviting if you like hops. Fiercely hoppy flavor is quite bitter and has woody and fruity notes. Texture has strong fizz and good body.

Served at the Silver Peak Grill and Taproom down by the river.

A: Hazy golden color with a decent head which fades to some lacing.

S: Aroma of fresh grain & hops.

T: Slightly crisp with citrus & hops. Has a bitter finish.

F: Seems quite well balanced. Not overpowering like some IPAs.

D: Enjoyable brew. More of a traditional IPA, well worth a try.

Bought one of their first kegs for a party in college. Whooo it was good. Still the same to this day, a hazy golden plume. Aroma a little aromatic hopiness, nothing too dramatic (theme).

Taste, again, a decent amount of hops, not "TO THE EXTREME" hopping by any means, but distinctly an ipa from the first taste. Average bitterness, I'd guess around mid60s ibus. Pretty well balanced. Probably the best year round beer made in Nevada. Great pricing, especially if you catch this stuff at happy hour.

Nice cloudy amber color with ample head that stuck around for a while. Smell was hoppy all the way, but certainly not overpowering.

Taste was solid, hoppy but still well-balanced. Nice citrus flavor in the finish.

Quite an easy drinker here, more balanced than a lot of the more extreme choices these days. Not a taste bud killer by any means.

Sampled at the brewery on 4/13/08.

A very drinkable IPA. I was looking for a bit more flavor from this one, but it is still a quality brew.

Poured a golden color, a bit of cloudiness, and a head that stuck around for a while.

Smell was mostly all hops. Not overwhelming, but that is certainly what sticks out.

Taste is a bit dry, crisp, and with some citrus and hop flavors on the finish. But the flavors all seemed a bit muted to me.

This is certainly a drinkable beer, session worthy... but maybe a cut below some of the better IPA's out there.

A nicely rounded IPA that is not too over the top.

Semi cloudy amber with a frothy head and sticky lacing.

Smell is hoppy, full of cascade aroma.

Hops are the mainstay in the taste, lighter than some IPAs out there, but very well balanced with the malt structure. Goes down well but leaves a citric bite.

Drinkable, but not among the best for sure.
