The French name meaning “the flower” celebrates both the heritage and unique style of this refreshing Witbier. Brewed with whole chamomile flowers, Spanish orange peel and coriander seed, it is one of our brightest ales.

This nice little wit comes out of the tap a clear solar yellow. Fruity aroma has a rather nice malty undertone. Fruity flavor is sweet but not cloying and has notes of banana, pear and malt. Smooth, fizzy texture has decent body and a fruity, fizzy finish.

Pale cloudy yellow color. Lots of head. Smell is good, wheaty with nice spicing (orange and coriander).
Tastes right for the style with good wheaty spicy flavor. The citrus is in there too.
Mouthfeel is light, but very crisp from the carbonation. A pretty tasty beer that would be a great summer seasonal.
Sampled at the brewery 4/13/08.
