This beer has a solid malt base of Munich malt and red caramel malts, which gives a round body and aroma of crisp biscuits and light toffee.

Copenhagen 19/11 2021. 50 cl bottle from Rema1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Sloppy painting of a green Christmas tree on red background. The Indslev logo with the white swan is sitting on top of the tree.
Pours almost clear, dark amber with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a light sweet, malty odor mingling with a subtle citric scent. Caramel and toffee. Citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a surprisingly strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Apart from a sharp bitterness there is not much that reminds me of a Indian Pale Ale. But at least it is not too sweet. Quite the contrary.
