Middelfart 31/3 2017. 50 cl bottle at Restaurant Fænøsund. The local bridge from the thirties on the label.
Pours hazy muddy brown with small white head. Settles as thin ring of foam.
Aroma is sweetish with a hint of lemonade. Strong backbone of caramel and alcohol. Sour notes.
Medium strong carbonation and surprisingly thin palate.
Flavor is well balanced and smooth. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Aftertaste is slightly boozy and mostly sweet caramel.
Well worth to cross the bridge for.
