ADSR is unmistakably a coffee beer. Brewed with 50lbs of Dinkinesh: Worka Chelbessa coffee from our good friends at Little Waves Coffee Roasters. Bright, fruity and floral notes from this Ethiopian coffee meld perfectly with the rich malt characteristics of the traditional Helles base. Delicious and refreshing, ADSR is the perfect summer crusher. First brewed in 2016 to commemorate Moogfest, we are happy to bring it back using 100% local malt.

Appearance: Arrives clear and golden colored with a one finger head; dots of foam cling
Smell: Light coffee tones waft above the grains; hint of berry
Taste: The blend of coffee and Helles lager flavors is balanced with just enough of each aspect to make the blend work; the Ethopian beans bring a touch of berry, as well
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: So many times coffee gets used as an adjunct for a stout, and while that marriage works well, this was a real surprise to see how coffee can work with a lager

Look: It pours light golden with a white head that has good head retention.
Smell: It has a strong coffee aroma. There are some bready notes as well. There is a very low hop element.
Taste: The flavors are a combination of strong coffee, a bit of grass, some bread, low caramel and sweetness overall.
Feel: It has a moderately low feel with a low bitter sweet aftertaste.
Overall this an easy drinking beer with coffee features and sweet malts.

Look - a slightly opaque golden yellow with a huge white head with low retention and sparse lacing.
Smell - pretty mild but you get grain, coffee, and floral/citrus hops.
Taste - coffee is front and center with earthy coffee ground notes lingering for awhile. That's mixed with a solid malt backbone, and it finishes with some bitter hop notes in the form of citrus (lemon?).
Feel - high carbonation, medium body, dry finish.
The somewhat opposing flavors I mention above blend together really well here. This is a smooth drinking lager that has depth and complexity. I hope they keep brewing this.

Deep gold and clear liquid with a quickly fading white head that left specks of lacing. The aroma is full of coffee and grainy sweetness and is accented with some floral hop notes and crackers. The taste is lightly sweet with a nice roasted coffee flavor and a nice little bitterness at the end. Pretty decent coffee beer.
