Appearance: Pours a fairly clear pale amber color with a one finger head; a few shards of lace
Smell: Tart lemon; pithy and sour
Taste: The sourness starts at the outset with a lemony tartness that builds along with citrusy bitterness, into the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Refreshing and enjoyable; a good sour IPA for those who like the style

Poured into a snifter from a can dated 10/5/17, golden hued with a fingers worth of head. Nose is sharp; at first blush it includes a mix of apricot and champagne vinegar. Lighter mouthfeel with low carbonation. Taste isn't as sharp as the nose would imply. Strong execution of blending hops with a kettle sour tartness that's not overpowering and feels quite approachable. A fun change of pace beer, but drinkable enough to have 2 pounders in a session. Whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Worth a try!
