We married the dank, curious paw paw fruit with local wheat, flaked oats, and fruity hops like El Dorado and Amarillo.

Appearance: Arrives hazy and goldenstraw colored with a nice head that leaves some spotty lacing
Smell: Earthy fruit and pithy bitterness
Taste: The paw paw tones arrive first and become distinct as the beer warms; there is a hint of ginger that adds a spicy edge; through the middle, there is a moderate, pithy bitterness that builds; the finish marks a return of the paw paw to close out the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Really interesting use of the paw paw fruit to create a classic NC IPA
