Fullsteam Brewery

Had on draft at the brewery. Slightly hazy light amber color with thin white lacing, minimal effervescence.

Lemon pith and light pine on the nose. Flavor follows the nose almost exactly: strong taste of lemon rind and citrus with a decent bitter finish, but not overpowering. A pleasant slightly oily finish on the palate.

A decent IPA focusing on bitter citrus flavors. Was expecting something more hazy from the description, but I might be used to the super hazy NEIPAs from the northeast. I always appreciate seeing how other breweries from other parts of the country interpret the style. Certainly more hazy than a west coast style but not as chewy as some of the IPA bombs back home.
