Look: It pours cooper with an off white head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has an herbal and earthly quality to it up front with a low malt backbone.
Taste: The malt is stronger in the flavor with caramel touches with a bit of light breadiness. It has an herbal quality to it with some earthly components. There is a light fruity element well into the background and finish.
Feel: It has a medium light body with a medium bitter finish.
Overall: A solid beer with good flavors and certainly within the guidelines of a traditional ESB.
