On tap at the brewery on 3/3/12.

Pours a cloudy, bright yellow with with a soft, thin layer of white head that has decent retention. The nose has some straw undertones but is predominantly spicy with notes of pepper and coriander. The taste is similar to the nose; straw and grass up front followed by a hint of lemon, cracked black pepper, and coriander in the finish. The mouthfeel is light and smooth with decent carbonation.

This is a nice, easy drinking beer. It's brewed to style, but in my opinion a little one sided with the spices taking over. This would make a nice beer though for a hot day.

on-tap at Fullsteam, served in a weizen glass

Appearance is a hazy yellow with some skim on top. The skim/head is actually clumpy, this is disturbing. Smell is some funkiness and light, sweet malt. Taste is again funky (but not as bad as in the smell) and a very light malt. Some yeast in the taste and a certain lemon citrusness. Mouthfeel is lightweight and dry.

This was a pretty bad wit, the clumpy head in particular was quite bad. Had a certain funkiness about it, and was fairly lowcarb for the style and not nearly spicy enough, not really very spicy at all actually. These light wheat beers can be a bit tricky to pull off, Fullsteam just isn't quite there.

Kind of stumbled upon this. Came to have their first firkin, left having had this.

Pours very cloudy light yellow color. Like the color of cloudy honey. Very light yellow.

The taste has that flavor reminiscent of Fullsteam, but I think its found its place. That slightly Belgian White, slightly German hefeweizen, almost too much of a malty feeling really pervades. The malt takes over, instead of the phenols from the grain. Not bad, but a good first effort from Fullsteam!
