I was lucky enough to get some of this yesterday at the taproom as they were just about out.Poured a deep dark chocolate brown with a half finge deep beige head atop.Alot of chocolate malt and molasses in the nose,a little alcohol sweetness as well.sweet molasses flavors abound along some mild roast and chocolate notes,a bit of dry nuttiness in the finish. An imperial version of the Working Man's Lunch,I enjoyed it.

And I quote from the big board at Fullsteam, "Imperial Working Man's Lunch." Same ingredients, just double everything.
The pour is a very deep murky brown (almost black) with a thin off white head.
Oh my lord the banana has taken over this one. The same Belgian yeast has been upped and the banana has really shown through. Hints of bitter chocolate.
The taste is loaded with banana esters from the Belgian yeast. its like a damn banana moon pie. Hey, Sean and Chris, I think youve hit Banana Moon Pie. The choclate is more bitter than Working Man's Lunch. You really dont even the taste any kind of booze at all, and thank god. It would have ruined everything.
