Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
This beer poured a cloudy, coffee brown color with light tan foam that settled. The smell was lightly fruity (banana) with some light malty aroma. A modest aroma. The taste was tangy with light banana fruity flavor and a touch of coconut and citrus and even a hint of coffee. There was a touch of yeast in the flavor as well. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy but with a tanginess up front. The body was medium and the carbonation feel was low. Overall it was a clear tasting beer. This was an enjoyable and refreshing dunkelweizen, and it grew on me over several days of my stay.
