Tasted on-tap 05/07/07 at the Triple 7 Restaurant & Brewery in Las Vegas, NV.
Nice clear golden color with a nice white head and nice active carbonation. Big spicy aromas and flavors that seem to come from actual spices (not really sure if any are added) versus from Begian yeast, malts, and/or hops. Medium-full bodied with a spicy finish. Alcohol level was not overbearing at all - well balanced.
A strange Belgian that I probably would put in a different category due to the spicy flavor. Either way, one was enough for me.

Sampled on-tap at the brewpub (April 2007).
This Belgian IPA poured a clear, golden color with creamy, bright white foam that persisted and clinged to and coated the glass. The smell was "Belgian" with aromatic hops, but was a modest aroma even when the beer warmed. The taste was like a hoppy Belgian golden ale with a hint of sweetness (faint), and good, aromatic hops. The hop bitterness built to the finish, and really shined in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel was smooth and crisp and dry overall. The body was medium with moderate carbonation. The finish and aftertaste was dry and hoppy. Nice. This was a very easy drinking Belgian IPA with the ABV well masked. A good beer.
