Enjoyed at the brewery. Poured into my pint glass the beer is a bright orange brown color with a moderate amount of tan head. Not much lacing is left behind.
The aroma is a pleasant blend of pumpkin and spices. Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg all the usuals. Traces of malt can be picked out after some warming.
The flavor is a well balanced mix of pumpkin, spices and malt.
super smooth and well put together. This is one of the better pumpkins I've sampled.
A bit thin in the body but plenty of carbonation to keep the feeling up.
Overall an excellant pumpkin ale. I ordered a few actually.

Enjoyed at the Brewery, Main Street Station. The beer opens with a standard Pale Ale look: copper colored with creamy white head formation that faded sooner than expected. Aromas pick up on sweetness from malts, spiciness from hops and ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice... none of which overpower the base beer. Flavors give a solid base pale ale taste, bite-ey spices, and no real pumpkin flavor. (this beer may be easily placed in the herb/spice beer catagory). Textures are a bit thin, and lacks the much-needed creaminess the was promised in the appearance. Finishes with a harsh spice bitterness, but otherwise pleasant. I don't think that pumpkin fruits were actually used in this brew -- just the spices.
