This beer was consumed while in Las Vegas on November 4th, reviewed from notes. The waitress said this would come out in a "sniffer" glass, actually it was a tulip.
Appearance: One finger head that lasts and leaves some lacing. The beer is a very nice burgundy color.
Smell: Sweet malts and a mild woody character. The yeast were also notable.
Taste: Initially sweet malts. Slightly tangy and spicy. Mild hops bitterness at the end.
Mouthfeel: Dense with low carbonation.
Overall: Fine, but probably not the best example of a quad.
