Black, thin foamy tan ring. Light roasty and cola aroma. Taste caramelly coffee, lightly sweet with very mild bitterness that doesn't match but it's good and enjoyable with lasting character if a bit one dimensional. Good with the food.

On tap at the brewery. Comes dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. Decent.

Strong coffee presence in the aroma and flavor. Roasted dark malt and only a mild hop finish.

I wasn't expecting much from this beer of modest potency at an outpost of the hoi polloi (comme moi): one of the lesser touristic quarters of Las Vegas, Nevada, within hailing distance of that ersatz Bourbon Street, the Fremont Street Experience. It arrived at the table, however, in distinguished black-and-white. Its tight ecru head was sharply set off from a formal, opaque black body, and left impressive remnants as the level of the brew receded. The aroma was of cocoa; the taste similar, but with a greater depth than the altogether pleasant fragrance prefigured. The beer is silky on the palate, and, in toto, is a fine piece of work. To the brewers at Main Street Station, I offer congratulations and gratitude. Nice job!

This stout was poured on nitro-tap, and came out a very dark brown colour with good clarity. It smelled clean; I could easily pick up on the roasted notes of coffee, and also a slightly sweet. This stout tasted almost exactly as it smelled; clean flavours with coffee upfront and a slight malty sweetness. Very tasty.
Would I buy this beer again? Definitely.

I visit Las Vegas at least once or twice a year and the Triple 7 Black Chip Porter is my only beer of choice when I am there. After gambling all night, this beer is a winner. I love the dark rich coffee color of this beer with its cream color head. You can smell the hops and earthiness of its flavor. It is a heavy stout beer with a smooth, sweet creamy taste and a slight bitterness at the end.

Had on tap at the Main Street Casino Brew Pub.
It's a deep black with a dense, creamy brown head. A beautiful beer
Roasted malts come through on the smell.
Dark, sweet chocolate, coffee, nice balancing hops, very good!
Velvety creamy, perhaps a bit thin, but very nice
A very good beer, I'd get it often if it were available where I live.

Consumed on 1/6/10 at Main Street Station, Vegas for less than $1.50
A - A healthy finger of creamy cappuccino head. A dark wooster sauce color. Noticeably strong lacing.
S - Sweet chocolate notes. Distinctly porter. Porter-iffic. Not much as complexity goes but enjoyable.
T - A bit of bitter hop and some roasted flavors. Simple but pleasant.
M - A touch watery but still cool to the palate and warm to the spirit.
D - Not bad. Could get again. It's a great beer to get for free when gambling in downtown Vegas.
