Rockman's Beer Island

This is one of the very few places in India which is built with beer as the main emphasis. Rockman's Beer Island is a brewpub which makes its beers with German ingredients and supervision (supposedly under the German Beer Purity Law). Their offerings currently are a Lager, a Strong Lager, A Dunkel and a Wheat Beer. They are all served fresh and is a refreshing change for the discering beer palate of India. The staff is not very knowledgeable though - that is a big miss. They also serve authentic German cuisine in the on premise restaurant "Kegs & Barrels". They also serve Indian cuisine, and also have an entertainment section called the Rockdome. The prices are a little steep though, but that's all right considering the rarity. Definitely worth a visit if you are in and around.
