On tap at Kings Row Gastropub in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a hazy honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, honey, toffee, and cardboard aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, honey, and cardboard flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is not all that IPA like with the honey and cardboard qualities.
