Light amber color and appears to be clear. Good, lasting head. Leaves several rings of lace with streaks in between.
Fresh grapefruit styled nose.
Smooth pale malt start...not quite creamy, but sweet enough to provide decent body. The hop has a dying effect but comes no where near being extreme. Overall, nice balance.

On tap at Ojai Beverage Company in Ojai, CA.
Pours a hazy light golden-yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and slight pine needle aromas. Taste is much the same with black tea, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, but the citrus forward hop qualities are much better in the smell.
Serving type: on tap.
