On tap at Crazy Harry's in Winnetka, CA.
I confirmed with the Knee Deep rep that this is the Knee Deep version of the collaboration beer brewed with Altamont.
Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, tropical fruit, and slight onion and garlic aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, tropical fruit, and pine needle flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid citrus and tropical forward hop characteristics all around.
Serving type: on tap.
