A: This poured a clear gold with rocky off white head.
S: It smelled like citrus zest and floral hops, with some biscuit malt.
T: It tasted like bitter citrus zest and grapefruit, with some floral hops and biscuit malt. It had a clean bitter aftertaste.
M: It was watery with moderate carbonation. Decent body.
D: This was a good IPA with crisp but basic scent and taste. The body was a little weak, and the finish was a bit rough, so it wasn't the easiest to drink. Not bad but not recommended.

The appearance was a bronzed burnt amber/almost brown color with a sly transparency to it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a nice pace. Finger’s worth of lasting head maintains for a good minute before dissipating nicely. Lacing seems good and adequate, somewhat messy yet thin. The aroma takes in a ton of big sweet danky onion over top of some sly citrusy hops. Old school malt backbone seems to hit very nicely, no where close to being overly done, just seems to be right there. The flavor seems brings in the qualities of the aroma nice and bitter and then forms into more of a combined bittersweetness between the hops and the malts. Beautiful transition from aftertaste to finish was executed very nicely. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sipping quality to it. Yes, given the name, I wanted to gulp it (maybe slightly), but the sweet dankiness does help alleviate some of the leeway of the bite from the hops. Damn nice balance! Overall, despite the age, this was a very nicely done DIPA that I could come back to, most definitely!

Poured a clear, light gold body with large head and a dirty citric hop aroma. Dry, bitter, earthy, hoppy, light floral notes, a classic DIPA that lets the hops shine with crisp finish and is easy to drink.

6/3/17...pours rusty copper orange, white foam that settles mostly out with one island of foam. Slight orange peppery nose. Smooth almost creamy open. Spills into a bitter pine. Bitter burns below the surface but is expertly balanced throughout. Tasty.
