L: Pours a brilliant golden yellow orange color with very little head or lacing.
S: Piney and dank are upfront with a nice note of tropical fruit, quite hoppy.
T: Starts dank and bitter, with a hint of pine and some nice lemony and grapefruit candy. Quite a bit of sweetness. Good amount of bitterness.
F: Large body, smooth easy drinking carbonation.
O: This is a hoppy and boozy IPA that is nice but not spectacular

Appearance - Pours crystal clear and a brilliant, bright orange color, with an off-white, finger width head. Fair retention before dying down to a thin, broken layer of suds with a thick ring encircling the outer edge.
Smell - Moderate aroma, but dank presides, with lesser citrus. Light floral and bready undertone.
Taste - Not as dank as the nose leads on. Fair dank and grapefruit tangle for the lead on primary flavor. Touch of orange. Light floral notes. Malts are distant but bready. Booziness. Fairly clean finish, with light pith lingering.
Mouthfeel - Full-bodied with moderate carbonation. Slick upfront before turning dry and sticky in the finish.
Overall - Not really my cup of tea, but it's not as dank as I would expect, so that's a plus. Really not a prominent flavor here that stands out. Fairly balanced. A bit more boozy than I'd prefer.

Draft at the Happy Viking. Medium golden, skin of head. Aroma seems normal for an IPA, but this is Knee Deep, so the taste is where this really takes off. Bitter, dank , full. Classic Knee Deep.

Pours a handsome clear amber with plenty of foam in the Affligem chalice. Sudsy and spritzy on the tongue with a substantial malty mouthfeel. Moderately sweet, which goes well with the massive hops. Appropriately bitter as well. Aromatic with citrus and mango. Flavors of orange, papaya, and grapefruit peel. Dark wood and resins in the finish.
Overall this is really quite well done for being such a montrous brew. From the extra-tall can purchased at Barons Market. The date appeared to be considerably earlier in 2021 but it has mellowed nicely if anything.

Picked up a stove pipe can from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 5-18-20 for $8.99. Canned on 4-02-20; consumed on 7-19-20. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured golden orange with a very nice white head that has some very good hang time.
Nose has some herbal and citrus hops but it is not really popping.
Taste is nice, a large but relatively light malt base converges nicely with grapefruit and orange hopping. Finishes with a nice touch of piney bitterness; 7/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and surprisingly refreshing.
Overall a nice beer, glad i gave it a try!

Not bad. I like it because it’s straight up: no shwag here. No puff puff give on some trash can bush here. No sir. This is quality like a Lorena Rae Polaroid - I feel dat. No real heat given that it’s a big boi. Smooth like Brad Pitt before Gwyneth got her head chopped off.
Raul is into it.

Clear orange brew with a white head. A little lacing. Smells like caramel malt, grapefruit and weed. Tastes sweet and bitter with grapefruit and weed. Super bitter and clean finish. Nice beer.
