Pitch black with a ruby tinge when held to the light. Topped with a finger of beige head.
Smells of vanilla, whiskey, coconut, licorice, dark toasted malt, and a hint of soy sauce.
Tastes of whiskey, vanilla, black licorice, and soy sauce.
Moderately thick, oily body with moderately low, foamy carbonation.
I got this directly at Knee Deep Brewing Co, back in May, and am drinking it in Redding, Nov 9th, 2019. Excellent brew!
