You have floor seats to most baller IPA on the hardwood. This meticulously crafted, Simcoe hopped IPA, drives the lane with pleasant notes of crispy pine sap and zesty citrus peel. Light bodied and the same color as the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, you will definitely be a fan of our insanely drinkable Courtside IPA.

Here we are, Knee Deep (in the hoopla), NorCal, and yes, this guys can brew some really good craft. This Simcoe IPA was amazingly citrusy, or I should rather day, “simcoe-y” that it had me believe it was grapefruit peels responsible for this zesty hop bitterness. What I loved about this beer was that it was really fresh and hop bitter - and that I could tell that there were real whole cone hops used in the brew, it just tasted really natural. Just like the notes on the can, it does have a light body and for an IPA it both becomes very sessionable and somewhat dry, all of which is meant as a praisal. I liked this beer although I’m not a fan of basketball and still don’t get the common denominator between the drink and the sport but whatever. Still a great beer.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge after it settled down.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy and piney hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has balanced flavors of citrusy and piney hops along with hints of underlying caramel malts. There is a moderate amount of crispness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the crisp bite of the mouthfeel of this beer and the balance between the citrusy and piney hops. It isn't that malty or heavy on the mouthfeel and is easy to drink.

Pours a clear gold with lots of visible carbonation and a finger of nice head
Smell is very tropical. Big pineapple, some guava and papaya as well.
Taste isn’t exactly what you’d expect from the nose...I get more citrus, tangerine, even some pine. Really complex. Resin too.
Smooth, crisp, dry.
Really a great IPA

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a golden color with a billowy two finger head of pure white foam. The head has a great level of retention, very slowly fading over time to leave a good level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew has tons of tropical fruit aromas, being quite big of pineapple, mango, and some papaya. Along with these aromas comes some sweet tangerine and as well as a good hit of a doughy smell. Some other aromas of a tiny bit of citrus hop as well as some herbal and grassy smells are there as well creating a nice approachable aroma overall.
Taste – In contrast to what one may expect from the nose, the taste begins with a very dry cracker and bread taste that has a good showing of dank hop of a pine and herbal nature. There is also a light citrus hop upfront and a tiny bit of a tropical fruit and citrus sweetness, all of which get slightly stronger as the taste advances. The sweeter and citrus never really get all that strong though, and with an increase in the herbal and pine as well as a little bit of a hay and grass taste, one is left with a pleasantly crisp and dank taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. For the dank hop and cracker tastes the feel is great and makes this one a super easy drinker overall.
Overall – This is a very tasty and crisp and clean tasting IPA, with just some hints of citrus and tropical fruit sweetness. I really enjoyed this one as it was clean, flavorful, easy drinking, and nicely hopped with both a light level of citrus and more dank hops.

16 oz can from the Wall of Beer (Clemson, SC; $2.29) with a 9 January 2019 canning(?) date stamp on the bottom.
Pours clear, pale amber-rose with a white head of moderate size and life that leaves sticky lacing.
Aroma: lemony and grassy
Flavor: mildly bitter for style. Grassy and citrus notes.
Feel: medium-light body with medium carbonation.

Copper filtered with moderate carbonation, and topped with 1 finger of white head.
Smells of dank green leaf, bananas, grapefruit and battery acid.
Tastes of dank green leaf, bubblegum, caramel malts, and berries.
Medium, resinous body with moderate to low carbonation.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 11/05/2018
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine), piney. The taste is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine), piney. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew.

Nice bright and crisp and bitter WC IPA. Floral, earthy and piney. Refreshing change from too many average hazy juicy IPAs. Plenty of bitterness with a slight linger. Will definitely be grabbing more.
