We forgot to filter and fine this ridiculously juicy New England-Inspired IPA! Served directly out of the fermenter for maximum flavor and aroma, you will taste flavors of juicy guava and ripe passion fruit that pair perfectly with it’s cracker-like malt profile. Take a sip and you will realize that this pillowy soft, velvety liquid was no accident! Best enjoyed fresh!

Draft at brewery. Hazy yellow golden , tight, creamy head. Aroma is light, grainy, white bread, citrus. Taste is also light, citrus, bready malts, lingering sting from the hops. Pretty gentle.

Canned 09/04/20
Appearance - Pours hazy and hay yellow in color with an off-white, really rocky finger width head. Fair retention before settling to a thin, broken layer of suds and a thick ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Spicy, like black pepper, but also with some orange juiciness, passionfruit and guava.
Taste - Follows the nose. Bready malt throughout, while juicy notes of orange, passionfruit and guava and some fruitiness. Light pine. Black pepper spice develops mid-taste and becomes a prominent presence as it rounds out into the finish.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with low carbonation. Drinks well enough before a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Not a bad beer by any means, but nowhere close to being a really nice NE-style IPA, as touted on the can. In fact, this drinks closer to an unfiltered WC IPA, if you ask me.

Can poured into a Knee Deep Brewing Co snifter
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces beautifully.
S: Tropical and stone fruit leads, citrus, spicy pine, grassy and light floral notes, crackery malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical fruit, passion fruit, papaya, guava, mango, apricot, peach, and a hint of melon, some spicy pine, citrus, lemon, lime, and tangerine, floral notes, slightly grassy, crackery kinda grainy malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, a little softness on the palate.
O: I can't quite put my finger on exactly what it is, but there's something going on in the taste that keeps things from really coming together. It's not bad, but it's not great either. I'd drink it if it was put in front of me, but I wouldn't order another.

Poured from a can on 6/07/2020 (date:5/20/2020). Pours a hazy bright yellow color true to its name with a minimal head. Nose is heavy on peach and apricot with a slight undetrtone of lemon. Smells really juicy and the taste almost follows the nose. Light tones of fruit coat the palate but are slightly anti climactic for what the nose gives you. Overall a decent hazy, but I probably wont be buying it again.

Tropical hoppy nose on this one. Taste follows but is slightly over-carbonated for my palate which takes away from the finish and swallow. Miss the mark a bit in my opinion.

A: cloudy; pale gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap; nice lacing;
S: grapefruit, then pineapple;
T: muddled citrus and tropical fruit - lime, pineapple, grapefruit, and orange; there's a somewhat harsh citrus zest bitterness toward the end that distracts from the flavor;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; soft;
O: not a lot of aroma and the harshness of the bitterness was a definite turnof for me;

From the bottom of the can: "03/21/2019"
Appearance: The beer has a lot of haze but it is not opaque; shadows and some fuzzy forms can be seen through the glass. The color of the body is a medium shade of gold, and the head is pure white. The head has a fluffy texture and is medium-large. Moderate lacing.
Aroma: There is a nice candied peach scent with a hint of tangerine. The scent is nice but mild.
Taste: There is a bit of grain flavor that comes through up front, then a bit of pineapple, and a touch of grapefruit. It has a touch of alcohol character.
Mouthfeel: There is a medium bitterness to the beer and it has a light body with a dry finish.
Overall: The can states that this is a "NEW ENGLAND-INSPIRED INDIA PALE ALE" and it does feel a bit inspired by the style, but it doesn't strongly compete with or improve the style. While this is a good hazy IPA it just doesn't have the texture, aroma, or flavor of competing New England IPAs. I would still drink the beer again, and I would recommend it as a standard IPA.
