Can poured into a Knee Deep Brewing Co snifter
A: Pours mahogany brown with a frothy tan head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Roasty, earthy, char, coffee, a touch of smoke, chocolate, subtle dark fruit, a bit toasty, and some toffee sweetness.
T: Roasty, light char and a hint smoke, earthy, chocolate, coffee, toasty, nutty, a little underlying dark fruit, and some toffee sweetness.
M: A touch on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Pretty straight forward porter. Doesn't blow me away, but I wouldn't turn down another.

It looks like a porter and smells like a porter, and I'd say it sure tastes like a porter. This one was a bit more roasted and smoky on the back end, but still had notes of chocolate and coffee on the front end. I'd probably prefer the order of those to be flipped, but you need all of them for a good porter in any case, so it's good to know that they're all in there. Nice beer from these guys.

12 oz can at the Fall 2019 ASMF.
This porter has low ABV but bold flavor for style, mainly from a generous load of very dark roasted grains. Burnt toast lingers in the aftertaste.
Excellent off-white head and lacing.

Pours a light brown, amber hints in the light. Looks very cola with light coming through. Head is slight. As is the aroma. Barely malt and wet toffee and a little butter bread.
Taste is chocolate, coffee, toast. Slight caramel as it warms. A bit bitter (they're claiming 26 ibu on the can, seems right). It's a little thin and a little sweeter than you might, but taste is rich. It is called Air Porter after all.
