We are going the Whole 9 Yards on our 9th birthday celebration by brewing this special edition Citra, Cashmere, and El Dorado hopped Triple IPA. Ripe stone fruit and juicy citrus notes steal the show while masking the 11% ABV, because well it isn't an anniversary at KDBC without a dangerously drinkable Triple IPA.

Taster at brewery. Clear golden, spotty head. Aroma is light, apples, sweet, hay. Taste is sweet malts with a sticky hop finish. Exceptionally smooth.

Copper with champagne like bubbles, and a finger of perfect, white head.
Smells of malts, peaches and old hops.
Tastes of malts, peaches, alcohol, clean linen and a big deep bitterness.
Medium, syrupy body with a little champagne like carbonation.
I got this bottle at the brewery in Auburn, CA, and am drinking it in Redding over a week later. I was excited to find one by Knee Deep I had to go all the way to the brewery to get. Its very boozy, but being proclaimed as a triple IPA, it definitely is old, and tastes more like a Belgian blonde. Very little character is left, unfortunately, accept acrid tasting, dead hops and alcohol.

Not gonna complain about this one. No sir! It’s a pretty righteous brew. You would think that it would be Kate Upton ‘huge’ at 11%, but it’s actually hella light and more so has the bosom of a ballerina - ya, I like that. Again, it’s not large and in charge like John Ford directing a scene; it’s just kind of light, nice, and ‘there.’ Delicate hops, light honey, and a lil hot bite...
It’s a really enjoyable beer that will probably get you faded like a Chico State kid after a Four Loco circa 2005.
