12/26/21 4 pack, expensive & old (10/14/20). I like Citra, like Other Half. Where’s the flavor on this one? Muted, stale? Better as it warms.

On tap in a 20 ounce mug.
Muted copper orange color. The 1f white cap lasts and leaves sticky lacing.
Citra indeed; lemon- lime, grapefruit and more. Some melon and a touch of peach.
Caramel malt flavor shows up with the citrus and tropical fruit flavor blend.
Medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Slightly resinous with a citrus rind bitterness.
Well balanced and an enjoyable drink at 7% abv.

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 7-16-20 for $3.49. Canned 4-13-20; consumed 9-8-20. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured orange with a very nice white head that is hanging around very well after the first few sips.
Nose has hints of citrus and tropical fruits.
Taste is balanced with a medium pale malt base playing nicely with the grapefruit and passion fruit. Finishes with a nice touch of pine bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and both smooth and refreshing.
Overall a nice WCIPA!

A: Two fingers of thick, creamy foam upon pour into a nonick pint glass. Gold to amber color
S: Big hop aroma. Grapefruit dominates, from the citra hops.
T: Bracingly bitter in the West Coast IPA style. Grapefruit, passionfruit. Acidic lime-like notes.
M: Medium, kinda viscous. Satisfyingly toothsome. Average carbonation.
O: A fine single hop West Coast IPA. A satisfying 7% Tall Boy sipper
