An Imperial Stout brewed with Belgian Yeast that’s meant to be sipped in the shadows. Dark malts create rich flavors of chocolate, molasses and dark fruits. A dry coffee-like aroma leads to a sneaky smooth and warming finish.

2021 can poured into a snifter
A: Pours dark brown with a frothy tan head that settles to a light layer and leaves some nice lacing.
S: Dark fruit leads, followed by roasted malt, espresso, dark chocolate, earthy char, and a hint of smoke, rounded out with brown sugar and toffee sweetness.
T: Roasty, dark chocolate, espresso, earthy char, dark fruit, cherry, raisin, and a hint of date, plus some brown sugar and toffee sweetness.
M: Medium to full body moderate carbonation, creamy smooth.
O: I remember grabbing this can, intrigued by what it was, but also knowing that it would spend a little time in my cellar. The time finally came and I'm glad I nabbed it. Super smooth, a little Belgian character adds depth. I think a touch of ester-y spice would fully tie it together, but I'm not mad at where it is now. Would love to see a rum barrel version.
