2012 Sac Beer Week. Bottle poured into Portsmouth snifter.
A: Pours a burnt amber color with a huge, ample, and very long lasting off-white head that took forever to fade into a sticky and rocky film.
S: I get fresh hoppy notes of mango, mint, citrus rind and passion fruit. There is a herbal and earthy quality all around as well.
T: Follows the nose with light hoppy flavors of minty and herbal hops, some sweet tropical fruits, and a touch of citrus and pine rounding out the finish. Flavors are clean with a refreshing bitterness in the aftertaste.
M: Medium-light body, clean and quenching mouthfeel, with ample yet fluffy carbonation. Drinks very well.
O: A delicious and easy drinking IPA. Hops are prominent but not overbearing. I could drink this all day!
