The beer pours a clear golden amber with a thin white blanketing of head thathe overs throughout drinking. The nose is unexpected with notes of matcha, white grape, flowers, and a touch of citrus...this is one of the most floral IPAs I've had. It's similar to horseheads ipa and definitely not a traditional west cost IPA. The taste is initially sweet with a potent bitterness that incorporates the floral hoppiness present in the nose well into the flavor profile. The mouthfeel is quite a unique balance of dank floral hops and sweet malts, but it seems to work really well for this beer and finishes semi-dry. This beer is definitely worth trying and was a great night cap.
