The blend of Simcoe, Amarillo, and Galaxy hops provide a fresh hop punch with a clean finish in this golden ale.

Intentional or not, but this beer gives me an aftertaste of pilsner/BMC, and that does not play well for me.

Served in a nonic pint glass.

My first liquid after the awesomeness of "Inception". See it. The beer pours a hazy orange-brown topped by a half-finger of white micro-foam. The nose comprises sweet caramel and nice combination of floral and citrus hops. The taste is dominated by a sharp pine and grapefruit mass, a slightly smaller bit of orange peel, and the minority opinion is voiced by some light toffee in the back. The body straddles the border between heavy light and light medium, with a light carbonation and a fairly dry finish. Overall, a solid IPA, but a tad one-sided for my tastes, leaving it falling just short of greatness.

Golden IPA. I thought it was odd that the waiter was kind of talking me out of ordering this beer. "That's not my favorite" kind of thing. Very odd.

Beer is golden and really hazy and forms a white head. Carbonation and lacing is moderate.

Aroma is mild and mostly chinook hops as far as I can tell.

Beer is medium bodied, sweet and malty up front. Creamy and mildy bitter in back. Its a decent IPA. I liked it. I would drink it again but I think more can be done to make the hop bill more interesting. Play with the more pronounced hop flavors in the pine or citrusy categories. This one comes off kind of earthy. Still good though.

Hazy golden sunshine with a two-finger creamy white head.

Aroma of mild citrus and herbals

Flavor is a relatively mild but pervasive earthy-citrus-floral hoppiness with a little malt sweetness on the back.

Great creamy medium bodied mouthfeel - a rich and soothing bubble bath for the mouth.

Finishes with a balance of malt and hops that leans more towards hop bitterness slightly as you get past half-way through the glass.

A: pours a bright gold with a bit of haze and a very nice white head and very good lacing.

S: not super heavy on the hops and a bit of sweetness. Moderate honey character.

T: herbal hops with some strong stone fruit notes and a bit of citrus. Getting a bit of honey-like sweetness from the malt. Hints of orange marmalade in the finish.

M: nice with good carbonation. Very smooth. Not overly dry, but good IPA feel.

D: very sessionable. An excellent all around beer and my favorite from them so far. Really, really glad to have a quality local brewery.

Described on the menu as being loaded with Chinook hops and using 18lbs. of them for dry-hopping. The brewery uses a 15-barrel system.
