a: nonic pint, murky golden amber in color with a nice but briefly retained head, lacing mostly absent
s: lots of hop matter gives an earthy aroma closely akin to a pile of fallen leaves, the pale malt body sweet and adding bready, biscuity aromas, nice start
m: faint cask carbonation with a lighter body
t: big on the earthy, leafy, tea-like hop tones, sweet, bready, biscuity pale malts, loads pulpy hop matter after the swallow, finishing with a light to moderate bitterness, a softer ipa
d: drinks well, a nice cask ale with sort of an English vibe going on

On tap at the brewpub. Halloween 2010.
Pours a very cloudy light orange color. Shirt white head and some pretty good lacing. Nose brigs really bitter orange pith. A bit if a dry, earthy character and lightly floral. Taste is some nice citrus character and a bit of a dry characteristic, almost reminding me of a slight woody character. Medium body and pretty bitter, this drinks quite well and is one my favorites from them so far.
