Leonidas - Batch 300 Ale (8% ABV)
A: deep copper color, clear, poured with nice head that dissipated to lacing on sides
S: clean, barleywine with some hints of barrel aging
T: very nice, well-balanced with malt and barrel aging, barrel isn't dominate and American Citra and Simcoe hops are noticeable but well matched to malt
M: nice EtOH for barleywine instead of being over the top like most with ABVs in the 12-13 range, I applaud Mad Fox for tempering the ABV and balancing it nicely with barrel aging
