a: nonic pint glass serving, caramel brown in color with a full khaki head, average retention

s: the figs blend well with the dark dried fruit profile of the base beer, dark breads and a touch nutty, a bit of toffee, very mildly hopped

m: medium bodied, low cask carbonation, drying on the finish

t: a blend of brown sugars and dark fruits, figs run in and out with raisin, hints of nuts and caramel, toasted bread, only the faintest hop nudge to finish

o: the fig is a good match for this one, the standard was always a little plain for me and that’s not exactly changed here, but it was a worthwhile drink
