New beer from Mad Fox. Not sure where to place it style wise. 7.5% - fermented with Weihenstephaner Weizen Yeast - Citra Hops in the boil - Citra and Simcoe dry-hop

Appearance: Looks like a hefeweizen. Light, hazy yellow with a big fluffy white head. Good retention and tons of lacing.

Smell: Hops just out of the glass. Citra/Simcoe might be my new favorite hop combination. Tons of juicy citrus and fruit that melds perfectly with the banana and fruity notes of the yeast.

Taste: Like a big, hopped-up hefeweizen in the best possible way. Nice and dry, the citrus comes in waves across the palate supported by hints of biscuity and grainy malt notes and all those classic weizen yeast flavors.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a high level of carbonation. Long, fairly dry, citrusy finish. Maybe the most drinkable 7.5% beer ever.

Between this and DC Brau Yonder Cities, I've figured out that Citra/Simcoe + Weizen/Saison yeast is a big winner for my palate. Mad Fox makes a bunch of killer beer, but this might be the best I've ever had. Amazing stuff.
