On tap at Ol Baren in Copenhagen. From notes.
A - Pours black. Opaque with a one finger khaki head that fades to a creamy cap.
S - Coffee and licorice dominate. Roastiness and a little dark fruit with some molasses make up the nice aroma.
T - Quite sweet. Molasses and dark fruit with licorice are there. Roastiness is really not there, as is the coffee. There is a little chocolate and a cola note.
M - A little carbonation in the mouth, not enough. Full bodied with a lingering sweetness. Body and carbonation seem off, at least for my tastes.
D - Sweetness makes this a difficult one. It is alright but I would not seek it out again. Worth a shot if you are into sweeter stouts but just not my thing.
