Draft at The Boilermaker in Philadelphia, PA.
Pours a very cloudy, pale golden yellow color with a two finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a lasting ring. Glass is left coated with soapy lacing. Looks incredible!
Musty aroma with really nice bretty funk. Dry and earthy smelling with a subtle lactic presence, booze and light fruit notes. Orval yeast is prominent with estery fruit notes and musty funk.
Slightly watered down with a decent yeast presence but it's more bready than anything. Musty Orval funk flavor is very faint. Some banana, bread and light fruit with a well masked ABV(even though it's kind of low). Refreshing and easy to drink just kind of boring and lacking complexity.

First had: on tap at Teresa's, Wayne, PA
Poured a slightly hazy golden-straw color with a cap of foamy white head that retained well and left a bit of lacing on the glass. Brett-forward aroma, grassy funk, floral and citrus notes. Taste of bready yeast, pale malt sweetness, wet grass, citrus zest, spice and overripe bananas. Medium body, slightly chewy, decent overall but nothing incredible.

On tap at Local Option. Neither the staff nor I enjoyed it very much, particularly as wild yeast used. Looks good but funky aroma. Drinkable. This is Orval yeast in that one out of four bottles of Orval that tastes off-flavoured rather than fresh. A little astringent.

Draft served in a small footed tulip glass at Local Option.
Review from written notes.
Golden color, light effervescent carbonation, sticking froth of white foam around the edges.
Hugely funky Brett yeast aroma, horsehair galore, backed by earthy floral botanicals. Daffodils and wet hay.
Dry and bitter earthiness, ginseng root, carrot peels, peppercorn, spicy, floral, light bodied and creamy, yet super dry in the finish. Very Brett forward, intensely so. Earthy and spice driven with the ginseng root and pepper, too much for me personally but its well put together.

Served in a St. Bernardus chalice at the Local Option.
This was described to me as a Belgian pale ale brewed with Orval yeast and dry-hopped with Perle and Mittelfruh. Right on. It pours a clear golden straw topped by a finger of white froth. The nose comprises lemon zest, light orange peel, very light funk, wheat, light coriander, and light black pepper. The taste holds notes of lemon zest, light orange peel, light funk (things seem familiar here...), very light cobweb, light clove, and very light banana. The body is a light medium, with a very light moderate carbonation and a slick feel. Overall, a pretty nice brew, though it comes across as an adulterated version of Orval at times, with none of the original's panache. Still, it ain't half bad.
