I got a keg(5 gal.) of this Rye Pale Ale for the Fourth of July .
It pours to a good head of about 1 inch with nice aroma of rye but not to over powering. The taste is very good, some malt but not a dry beer.the finish is clean .My wife even drank some.

Sampled at the 2003 San Diego Real Ale Festival

Beer pours copper orange with a sticky white head that leaves a strong residue in the glass.

Aroma is overwhelmed with diacetyl with a peppery rye note.

The body is slick and sweet with the rye which causes the finish to dry out. A light springy hoppiness is evident under the diacetyl.
