On-tap at Sour Fest
A: The beer pours a relatively clear folden color with a frothy white head.
S: A pretty funky smell to this beer. Lots of honey, bread, and graham cracker sort of aromas giving the beer some sweetness. There are also strong aromas of flowers, tart lemon, earthy funk, and grass. Maybe some oak, too.
S: Mild sweetness in the form of honey and graham cracker with a hint of vanilla. There's a nice tartness of lemon and lemon zest, too. A bit of musty funk with a slight grassy and floral note as well.
M: Medium in body with rather high carbonation.
O: I anticipated this beer being atrocious but it was probably one of my favorite festival beers of the day. Pretty good stuff.
