The beer appeared a hazy lighter orange with extremely thin head, white. I blame this on the pour as the beer was filled to the top of the glass. The beer gave off a slight sour aroma, almost not even one. The beer has a very interesting sour taste to it, not your typical taste for the style. The beer had a lighter feel, it was smooth and had good carbonation. Overall, very interesting and one that I would like to try again.

See others loved this beer and expected to as well. Couldn't shake the vinegary/cat piss taste. I'll try again another day to see if it's better. Otherwise it would be fun to see other peoples reaction as they taste it.

On tap at Beachwood BBQ. Poured hazy yellow gold with a one finger head that settled to a cap. Aroma is lemon juice, lemon rind, grain, and sour vinegar. Taste is initially sour and citrusy then shifts to a barely sweet grain note. Medium bodied, crisp full mouthfeel, tart dry finish, active carbonation. Despite the label, this isn’t a true Berliner Weiss, it’s more of an American Sour with weiss roots.

Heavy Berliner Weiss, both in ABV and in flavor. Notes of vanilla, banana, tropical fruit on both nose and palate. Juicy and flavorful notes on the palate, with tart lemons and lacto sourness. A bit heavy for the style in mouthfeel. Overall, one of the most flavorful Berliners I've come across. More of a prototypical sour than anything, but regardless of style, it's a great beer.

Great Berliner Weisse especially bc it's higher in alcohol and more sour than most every other in the style

Berliner Weisse is usually the session style sour but this us full on face pucker

So it's not very berlinery, but it's a damn good sour. Highly recommended. Pale hazy, tart lemon, granny apple and grape skins. Citric acid presence, delicious and juicy. Again, damn good.
