Balanced and not showing any egregious off flavors, but still a very ordinary pale ale here. Fully devoid of any real compelling hop character. It seems less flavorful than it should, and sags mid palate. Some really light pale malt sweetness may be appealing to some, but for me it gets in the way, and the hops seem under dosed as a result. Carbonation and body are both a little lighter than I like in the style, and this elk mountain offering is utterly forgettable overall. I had much higher hopes for this.

Poured from a bottle into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter. Bought from Davidson Liquors in Highlands Ranch, CO. Poured a golden color with a thin white head and had a faint citrus aroma. Tasted some caramel, as well as hints of orange peel. Even though the beer was not that hoppy as i would of liked, it was still a solid, easy drinking beer overall.
