Resinous and sticky as hell, with a dank hop character and obvious overcarbonation.
Drinkable, but subpar for the style.

You can really smell the yeast as you are drinking this IPA. The Puma IPA is delicious and I would have again the next time I visit!

On tap at the brewery.
Gold color.
Aroma of slight sweet malt and grass hops.
Moderate carbonation; penetrating mouthfeel.
Taste of grass and grapefruit hops, slight bitter melon rind, slight roasted malts. There's also some astringency and grainy notes. Not spectacular but a decent IPA depending on how you like your hop profile.

Enjoyed at the brewery
Nice color tones, amber color but slightly darker; bubbly head; little lacing; good hop flavor, light though; light citrus on the nose; good IPA taste, not overwhelmingly hoppy; good sessionable IPA. Something you might take back in a growler to share with others.

Thanks to Don for this one. On tap at Rackhouse poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, orange, tropical fruit and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smoth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, orange, tropical fruit and light earthiness with a smooth moderatly bitte fruit finish.

On tap at Rackhouse Pub. Dark amber color, good head, ok. Smell is kind of boring, not much hops and a bit of malt but overall quite un-entertaining. The taste had a decent bitterness but I'd say it was a little too balanced to the point of bitterness being the only aspect hops added to the flavor. The rest was a boring maltiness. I'd like to try this again maybe fresh at the brewery to give them another chance but this is a very average IPA. I can;t believe the other reviewer gave them a perfect 5.0, I am incredulous.

A: Strong lacing and fingers around glass. Head poured a nice creamy white holding together for some time.
S: Amazing smell and florals from this beer. Grapefruit, bitter orange, lemon and strong malts hit the nose.
T: Spot on for an American IPA. Zesty and full of bitter fruits in the mouth. All balancing with the malt leaving you with a slightly dry finish but wanting more.
M: Moderate to medium body with just the right amount of carbonation.
O: An excellent American IPA. I am not a fan of IPA's in general but this is one I would like to have more of. I don't remember the ABV of this beer. I will call them and get an update on that as soon as I can.
