Tap pour at the Mornin' Delight 2018 release. Incredibly sweet - like, unbalanced levels of diabeetus sort of sweetness. I don't have it, but it needs more adjunct presence. There is plenty of roasty coffee as well, but it somehow doesn't offset the sweetness. Plenty of body though - quite thick. Well made beer.

Decent, but not a game-changer or anything.

L-dark pour no head, brown edges
S-Very strong smell, sweet and deep
T-wow what a punch, amazing bite, huge flavors, big chocolate and bourbon flavors, not quite as sweet and strong as Mornin Delight but wow still amazing!
F-not thick like MD or SR71 but wow still worth it, highly recommended!!

Poured from tap at brewery on Dec 27, 2018.

Forget about GI Bourbon County if you can get your hands on this. I'm sure Kentucky Bourbon Breakfast Stout still wins but man this stuff is delicious and best beer I ever had. Oily, dark appearance with flavors of magnificent bourbon, chocolate Hershey syrup, maple syrup, and dark fruit. Oh man this is greatness at its greatest and belongs a spot in the top 250.

Poured on tap into snifter at the brewery. 12%
A: Pours a super dark brown with thin skim of dark mocha head.
S: Leather, molasses, baker’s chocolate, tobacco, bourbon, and a hint of dark dried fruit.
T: Follows aroma almost to a T. Leather, molasses, smooth bittersweet chocolate, tobacco, bourbon, fig, and raisins.
M: Medium heavy body...less than expected. Very velvety smooth. Darkly sweet with mild bitterness and mild alcohol burn. Perfection here.
D: Good complexity and surprisingly drinkable. Well done, TG!
