22oz bomber received via the generosity of ovaltine. The.bottling date is too smudged to be legible, but I suspect it's for late fall of 2018, as it's a one-off collab from then. Judging by the label, Toppling Goliath and Bottle Logic are both into punk rock.

An opaque yellow color, with a big, sudsy white head. Lots of lace.

Big nose of tropical fruits, citrus and melons.

Taste is similar to the smell, except the sharp, citrusy, grapefruit-like notes are more pronounced. They kick in around midway through the taste and balance the tropical, melonish sweetness. Towards the end the grapefruity aspect seems to win out, with things finishing on a dry note. At no point was there any sign of it's rather high alcohol content to be found in the taste.

Medium bodied, with an oily and slightly creamy mouthfeel.

Not a bad juice-haze bomb. As it warmed, it became more bitter and grapefruity, so a strict drinker of sweet fruitbombs might not be into it, but I dug it.

22oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of pine, grapefruit, orange and caramel. It tasted of toasted caramel, tropical fruits and a sharp bitterness.

Looks like grapefruit juice with a sudsy white head, extremely hazy. The hop aromas are pronounced standing five feet away from the bomber, with an almost floral grapefruit aroma (if that makes sense) accompanied by juicy oranges and passion fruit.

The floral component becomes more herbal on the taste, which is interesting, and the passion fruit flavor is really pronounced, but there’s still room for the orange and grapefruit flavors to shine.

I’m drinking this at 3+ months after the bottle date, and it’s as fresh as if it was just poured from a recently tapped keg. Really a pleasure to drink.

Very light straw, but opaque haze. Good head that disapates quickly, but laces the glass heavily.

Galaxy hop punch to the face, with a hint of sweet malt and a tropical fruit somewhere in the background.

Quite highly carbonated, but lighter than the look. Not super juciey like the typical NEIPA. Quite crisp, dry and refreshing, almost light for a beer of the size.

For the crazy hop aroma, this didn't have the bite that your normal IPA does. LOW IBUs, but big hop flavor, and they start the party. It's bright, crisp, with a hint of spice and hop fruitiness.

Overall- This is one unique beer! It smells like it's going to be Arrogant Bastard Bitter, but it is quite gentle on the pallet. Just a very pleasant beer.

Bomber poured into a tulip. Citrus aroma - grapefruit, orange, mango. Turbid orange/pineapple juice color, with a reasonably tall, white head that has decent retention. Nice-looking lacing. Top notch appearance. Color is almost bright. Smooth and somewhat thick feel, little carbonation contribution. Mild taste with almost no bittering at all initially. Taste mirrors the aroma: juicy orange, grapefruit. The malts are there under the juiciness. Some bitterness is apparent in the middle and finish. Finish is slightly sweet, with just a hint of balancing bitterness. Aftertaste fades quickly.

Very thick hazy yellow appearance with plenty of white foam. Smell based on juicy tropical fruit with some lemon too. Hops were there but not the star, but in the taste they were, lending an earthy and bitter backing for the pineapple, passion fruit, lemon and mango. On the thicker end for a neipa, with sharp hops bitter and smooth haziness. Solid all the way around

2018 bomber poured cold, hard to a tulip glass. Color is hazy, milky grapefruit juice which matches the nose in spades. Two finger head burns down quickly, but it has lots of legs. First sips turn to full mouthsfull that bring citrus, grapefruit, some bitter rind on the back end. Mouthfeel is pleasantly full, much better than the Golden Nugget can from Toppling Goliath I had the other day. Alcohol is hidden well, and low enough imperial to make this easily crushable. It’s a nice change of pace from all the stouts I’m hitting in this frigid winter, but is filling and full enough to not be out of place. Very nice beer.

Yellow in color, exceptionally hazy, and almost luminescent in appearance. There's a quarter inch of bright white. The aroma is of tropical fruit including banana, melon, and pineapple. I'm tasting melon, unripe banana, and green apple. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. I suspect oats were involved.

On tap. Hazy orange juice color. White head.

This one is too bitter for my liking. Has a lot of tropical fruit and citrus, but the bitterness makes it hard to drink a lot. Earthy and piney. Lots of orange juice.

$ 12.46 (Including shipping)/22 oz bottle ($ 0.566) from Tavour, Seattle, WA. Reviewed 2/1/19.
“Bottled on 12/16/18” in yellow ink on the shoulder. Stored at 42 degrees and served at 54 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 4.
Body – Yellow, opaque.
Head – Large (Maximum 4.2 cm, controlled center pour), off-white, moderate density, good retention, slooowly diminishing to an irregular five to thirteen mm lacy ring and a complete rocky layer which thins in the center.
Lacing – Good. Thick rings of tiny to small bubbles, with stalactites and columns connecting the rings.
First pour – Light yellow, hazy, opaque.
Aroma – 3.5 – Generic tropical fruit, but still pleasing.
Flavor – 3.5- Begins chalky and slightly bitter with ephemeral tropical fruitiness at best. A minute or two after swallowing, some esters and cyclic terpenes vaporize and tickle the palate. No malt, no alcohol (8.1% ABV), no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, watery, soft carbonation.
Impression and interpretation - 3.5 - Initial pour is reminiscent of an infected urine specimen, at least in color and opacity. The nose promised citrus, but mostly failed to deliver. Looks good, smells good, tastes just OK. A bit of a let-down for a TG brew.

22oz bomber. Opaque and pineapple juice colored body, capped with a creamy white head. Zesty citrus and tropical passion fruit aroma. Big juicy hop profile with notes of grapefruit, lemon-lime, passion fruit, mango, faint pineapple & melon with some kumquat on the finish. Full body, creamy and a bit resinous and a bit of a hop burn on the throat. Another great hop forward beer from Toppling Goliath!

Pours a very hazed straw color with onr finger of eggshell colored head. Average lacing & head retention

S: Tropical notes, orange slices, a little passion fruit

T: Mango, oranges, a little passion fruit & plenty of bready dryness & pomelo up front. Orange juice, a touch of mango & dryness as this warms, a touch of leafy hops on the edge, plus some lime. Finishes a little juicy, powdery dry with plenty of bright citrus

MF: Medium body, medium carbonation, nice balance

Nice IPA, I expect nothing less from Toppling Goliath

Super hazy with frothy white head.
Smell is of grapefruit and mango.
Flavors follow. Finishes slightly bitter and dry but very drinkable. One of the better TG beers I’ve had lately. But 10-11 a bottle is pricey. I’m good with 1

Pours a very hazy, vibrant orange-juice orange colour. Smells like fresh orange zest and citrus-forward hops, clean, crisp and squishy. Tastes crisp and juicy, citrus-y, orange, pineapple, a nice clean bitter finish. It looks like it would be chalky and have a feel more like a milkshake/lactose IPA, but it's surprisingly crisp.

Beautiful, completely opaque, pulpy, hazy, lemon-yellow body. Head production and retention are fantastic, leaving behind spiderwebs of lacing.

Tons of juicy, herbal hops. Modest dankness; bright oregano, basil, light pepper, and mint; mango, papaya, and peach; honey; pineapple, orange, and grapefruit.

Flavor follows, although a little less prominently than up front. A little bit more brightly herbal, a touch piney, and the juicy hops don't jump out on the palate. Dankness mostly on the back third, and while it for a moment seems like it will burst forth and overwhelm the palate, it quickly retreats.

A touch watery, almost like an APA vice DIPA. Silky, moderately lively, with a similarly restrained carbonation bite - present, but not very aggressive.

Pours a milky orange-yellow with a fluffy white head that left nice lacing. The color is slightly off putting. Smells of citrus and tropical fruits along with pine. Tastes of white grapefruit, grapefruit pith, orange, mango, pineapple, pine and resin. Medium bodied and carbonated, very bitter and dry finish, slightly chalky mouth feel.

This is opaque corn milk yellow and has so fucking much hop soup in it that it has a chalky appearance and glazes the glass with a yellow-white film. The head is tall and off-white with a large, airy bubbliness that collapses quickly.

Smell faintly features sesame cracker, but mostly delivers mango, orange and pineapple fruit acid characteristics.

The hop burn comes across as bitingly acidic, with notes of kiwi, lemon rind and pineapple juice that all come to near to aspirin.

The thin, silky fluid body has a crisp, tingly fizz and finishes with a semi-dry throat burn.

This could have been so much better, but it was excessive in all the wrong ways. The sink looked like it was lined with baby puke after rinsing out the empty bottle.

Poured from 22-once bottle into a glass goblet. They say this is hazy, but it looks pulpy and juicy to me. Opaque pale yellow in color, with an aggressive pour yielding a couple of fingers of white head that settled rapidly without leaving much lacing. Very hop forward: big aromas and flavors of orange, mango, and citrus zest, with a little underlying light caramel sweetness and a ton of citrus-zesty bitterness. Finish is moderately dry, with quite a bit of juicy tartness lingering on the palate. I found this to be much better at fridge temperature. An okay beer, but a rather subpar effort by TG's lofty standards.

I’ll be honest, this thing looks terrible. It looks like a turbid glass of pineapple juice that spent the summer baking in your backyard shed. Stop looking at it and drink it. The aroma is an amazing combination of pineapple, mango, and kiwi. Great aroma. Taste is a puckering dose of tropical hops with slight grassiness in the background. The light malt let’s the fruity hops dominate. Balance is slightly bitter but very drinkable. This is a really solid IPA.

Bottled 12/05/18. Pours a very turpid light orange color with a huge, fluffy white head that leaves tons of lacing.

The smell is loaded with tropical fruit and it's slightly bitter. There's also an earthy smell.

The taste is very bitter and earthy. There's some pine and tropical flavors. The finish has a lingering hop burn.

The mouthfeel is medium body and slightly low carbonation.

This beer is very bitter and fresh. It's got too much bitterness and hop burn for me. It overshadows the tropical flavors. I'd be interested to try it in a month.

L-hazy yellow, white head that fades
S-hoppy and citrus might
T-nice strong hip flavor and citrus flavors, the citrus dies off before the hops which linger for quite a while, wow!
F-this is a strong flavored IPA, I love it!
