Draft at the brewery. Poured pitch black with a beige head. Aroma sis present awesome notes of hazelnut but as it warmed up, it was all cinnamon. Not cinnamon French toast, but all cinnamon with notes of bourbon barrels and chocolate. The taste was like wit similar. Cinnamon was so prominent, I couldn’t really taste the hazelnut. It wasn’t spicy thoi, just so cinnamony. Definitely notes of caramely bourbon and sweet chocolate. Overall: it’s good chilled but the cinnamon became overpowering, but not spicy.

5oz draft pour. thick black in the glass. smell is unpleasant at best. just an odd combination of hazelnut, cinnamon and barrel. perhaps hazelnut and cinnamon are not meant to go together. however, taste is good as well as nice mouthfeel. if the nose wasn’t so unpleasant on this it may have been the best variant of assassin day. as it stands, it was my least favorite.
